Since the beginning of our small congregation, Kohelet members have joined in in building and decorating our succah immediately after Yom Kippur. We encourage children to participate in this effort and we are always relieved when the pieces actually do fit together. With natural schach from surrounding trees and decorative lights we create a warm welcoming space. We encourage all to come and sit, eat, and study. Lulav and Etrog are right there for your use. Although the succah may be used at any time during the holiday, we make a special effort to have a community evening where a more formal observance and discussion is offered, where our matriarchs and patriarchs are invited and where we read traditional passages from the Book from Ecclesiastes. Please join us.
