About Us

WELCOME TO KOHELET, A JEWISH CONGREGATION WITH A STRONG PARTICIPATORY MEMBERSHIP AND A LONG HISTORY IN THE DENVER COMMUNITY.

Kohelet is a diverse group of ages and interests, and we practice respectful recognition of every member from infant to retiree.  We are thoughtful about our services, our study, our observance of Jewish holidays, how we honor life events, and we are grateful for the volunteers who accomplish it all.  Come visit our beautiful sanctuary and share in our observances.

With a history of more than 40 years of volunteer participation and leadership, we welcome all who are looking to participate in and deepen their experience with Judaism.

Our building is more like home than an institution and we invite you to join us as we learn together and support each other as a community. We have a warm and beautiful sanctuary with a handsome Ark and two historic Torahs, and seating space for up to 100 people.

Services and activities are built around volunteer leadership and input from the members. Join us for Shabbat services, Kohelet Talks, High Holidays observance, supper in the Sukkah, Passover community seder, study opportunities and a host of other ways of learning about and participating in Jewish tradition and observance. If you are looking to deepen your knowledge and experience with Judaism, we can help you learn by doing.
